We believe that everyone in our local community should have a safe space where they can feel warmth and love – especially when everything feels dark, cold, and lonely. That’s why we have decided to partner with Skåne Stadsmission, who work to help people in vulnerable conditions, and especially children in homelessness.
Poverty and homelessness are rough no matter which time of the year it is. But winter and Christmas can be particularly difficult for families and children who live in vulnerable conditions with nobody to lean on.
This Christmas, we have decided to financially support Skåne Stadsmission by donating our Christmas gift budget.
Skåne Stadsmission is an organization that works with people who live in these conditions. They offer professional support through for example housings, meeting points, health centers, and social enterprises.
This Christmas, we are all making a difference by helping their work, as we have decided to financially support Skåne Stadsmission by donating our Christmas gift budget. This way, we can help those who need it the most and give back to our community in a meaningful way.
As a big company, we must be kind, and this is an initiative we can stand behind and make a real difference with.
“The decision to partner with Skåne Stadsmission stems from our desire to help those in need and at the same time contribute to a sustainable future for our local community. There are so many families and children in our city who live in vulnerability, and we feel that we have a responsibility to help where we can. As a big company, we must be kind, and this is an initiative we can stand behind and make a real difference with,” says Linda Malmgren, Communications Director.
During Christmas time, Skåne Stadsmission arranges safe spaces for people in need, where they cook extra good food, visit Christmas markets, serve traditional Christmas dinner, and invite Santa Claus to visit both young and old.
”Massive is an important actor in the region, and we are both proud and happy that they want to contribute to a more humane Skåne through their collaboration with us,” says Lena Wetterskog Sjöstedt, director Skåne Stadsmission.
This will be the start of a long-term partnership with Skåne Stadsmission where we will primarily support through volunteering and contributing to their daily work, but also financially from time to time.
“More than anything, it’s a decision that reflects our desire to take responsibility” says David Polfeldt, MD. “In this case, we will focus on a single organization, hoping that they will make a big difference – one that really matters.”
